Used to:
● Used connect two 3/8" female threads close together.
To Install:
● Thread each of the the 3/8" external male threads into 3/8" female threads.
Also referred to as:
● 3/8" hexagonal nipple.
Other Options:
● Other options include a Close Nipple which is an all threaded nipple, instead of having a hexagon shaped head between the 3/8" male threads.
● Another alternative are 3/8" Pipe Nipples which vary in length and have a unthreaded pipe section between the two male threaded ends.
