• Description:
• ● Victaulic nipples are hose fittings with a specialized groove on one end and a hose shank with barbs on the other end.
• ● It is has a characteristic specialized groove on one end, formed on the outside of a pipe, that is used with other Victaulic couplings to create a joint.
• Used for:
• ● Used to connect a hose to a Victaulic grooved fitting.
• ● This grooved nipple allows for easy and secure connections, often used in water distribution, fire protection, HVAC and other industrial applications. 
• Advantage:
• ● They are quick and easy to install
• ● They have a good ability to absorb vibration and movement.
• To Install:
• ● Place the grooved end against another Victaulic grooved fitting
• ● Place a gasket on one end beforehand and slide it to the center of the newly formed joint.
• ● Then place a Victaulic clamp over the gasket and the two grooved ends of the fittings and tighten the bolts and nuts.
• ● Insert the hose shank into a hose end and fasten with a crimp collar or hose clamp.
• Sizing:
• ● Victaulic Nipple Fittings are sized according to the nominal size of the hose and pipe they will connect to.
• ● For Example: a 2" Grooved Nipple will install in a 2" hose and connect with a 2" Victaulic clamp and fitting.
