Type D couplers are often used with type A adapters, but can be used with Type E and F adapters and Type DP (Dust Plug) of the same size.

• Product Description:
• ● The Type D is a Female Coupler x Female NPT Thread.
• How To Use:
• ● To connect, slide the Type D Coupler onto a Male Adapter and then close the two cam handles.
• ● To disconnect, lift up the cam lever arms and uncouple the two fittings.
• To Install:
• ● Thread the Female NPT portion into a Male NPT Thread.
• Will Connect with:
• ● The coupler portion will couple with a Male Adapter.
• ● The thread will connect to a Male NPT Thread. (National Pipe Thread)
• Used for:
• ● Installing a Female Cam & Groove onto a Male NPT Thread. 
• ● Connecting with a Male Adapter of identical size.
• Sizes:
• ● This Aluminum Coupler is offered in sizes starting from 1/2" all the way up to 8".
