• Uses:
• ● It can combine flow from 2 ports; for this reason, it is also called a mixing valve. 
• ● It can split flow from one port into 2 outlets.
• Advantages:
• ● Offers 4 flow patterns: All 3 ports open, any 2 ports open in an L-Formation, or 2 ports open in a straight line. (See diagram below)
